Harriet specialises in dealing with complex financial disputes, with particular experience in multi-jurisdictional cases and those involving family businesses, inherited wealth and trust assets. Harriet also has significant experience in resolving arrangements for children and advising on nuptial agreements. She is described as an “outstanding senior associate” by The Legal 500.
Expertise
Harriet advises on all family law issues. Her primary expertise is resolving complex, high-value financial claims arising on divorce, often involving corporate structures, inherited wealth and offshore trusts. She also has experience in drafting and advising in relation to nuptial and cohabitation agreements.
Harriet also regularly advises on the resolution of arrangements for children post separation, including international relocation and abduction cases.

Experience
Harriet’s recent experience includes representing the husband in WC v HC (Financial Remedies Agreement) [2022] EWFC 22, in which the team secured an excellent outcome for their client.
Career
Harriet graduated with a First Class BSC (Hons) in Biology from the University of Nottingham in 2010. She then completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course in London at Kaplan Law School, before undertaking her training contract at Mills & Reeve. Harriet joined Stewarts in July 2016.
