Amber combines a strategic approach to L&D with a collaborative, agile mindset and commercial acumen. She believes that learning should be high impact with measurable outcomes, and designs learning strategies accordingly. Her award-winning programmes commonly feature progressive approaches to development and aim to have long-term significance. Amber has a personal passion for women’s leadership development and deep interests in enabling effective neurodiverse learning.
Experience
In her legal roles, Amber has worked in an advisory capacity for regulatory bodies. Prior to joining Stewarts she was the Head of Development at DLA Piper and the Director of L&D at Ashurst, designing a range of development initiatives to meet hugely different needs in both firms. She is often invited to speak at external events on topics such as Overcoming Imposter Syndrome and Developing a Personal Brand.
Amber has delivered training, coaching and development advice in a range of capacities. For example, as a consultant she collaborated with a global fast-food company co-facilitating their women’s leadership development programme; and worked with leading girls’ schools to equip young women in the sixth form to enter the world of work/higher education.

Personal
Amber is married, with two (fairly grown-up) children, of whom she is immensely proud. She enjoys reading and usually has three or four books on the go at once. She plays the cornet to a not-very-high standard and also loves motor mechanics and motorsport: she can often be found at go-karting tracks around the country.
