Experience

  • Acted for the husband in Mantegazza v Mantegazza [2017] EWHC 3811 (Fam) in respect of his successful application to stay the wife’s English divorce petition on the basis that Switzerland was the more appropriate forum.
  • Acted for the husband in Pierburg v Pierburg [2019] EWFC 24 in respect of his successful challenge to the jurisdiction of the English court to entertain the wife’s divorce petition on the basis that she was not domiciled, habitually resident or resident in England.

Career

Sarah studied Modern History at Worcester College, Oxford University. She joined Stewarts in September 2013, having completed a training contract at Manches.
